• INTRO - These are prices for stretched canvas prints only. Original paintings need to be digitally captured and proofed first before prints can be made. There is a one time charge for this which includes a high-resolutions digital capture of your original artwork, color matching, print testing, and the creation of a final proof that perfectly matches your original artwork. This image file and settings used for this final proof are used for your Giclée canvas prints. Reprints don't need to be captured and proofed.
• Test prints and file prep for printing are necessary if you have a digital file you would like to print. The charge for proofing is $80/hr. I have a proofing area with ideal lighting, a fast computer and special color monitors for accurate color matching.
• CANVAS PRINT INFO - Prices in the chart are for un-stretched archival giclée canvas prints. See the last column for stretching. All prints are protected with three coats of an archival, water and UV protective finish. Surfaces include gloss, matt and semi-matt. All stretched is done in a gallery wrap style with staples on the back, not the sides. This makes it possible to hang stretched prints without a frame.
• HOW TO DETERMINE THE COST OF YOUR PRINTS - Prices are based on the image area of your reproduction - all prints include a 1.5" - 3" border for stretching. Refer to the last column of the chart below to get estimated stretching cost. The following chart has pricing for common sizes and quantity printings.
